Volunteer Roles

Concessions: For each and every home football game, we will need a crew of parents to staff the concessions stand and help out with one of our primary and most successful fundraisers!

Chaperones: Parent volunteers to ride the bus and attend the away football games and competitions with the band. Perks include fun, free admission to those events, and the chance to be "behind the scenes" with our kids.

Pit Crew: This special group of dedicated parents attend their selected home and away games with the students and are responsible for the loading and unloading of the pit equipment before, during, and after games.

Uniform Crew: Everything goes much more smoothly when we have a few volunteers to help coordinate distribution and collection of uniforms before and after games and competitions. And it only takes a little bit of your time!

Band Photographer: We are looking for an individual with some photography experience and a digital camera to take photos of the band throughout the marching season and school year. Please contact us for more information at decaturbandvolunteers@gmail.com.
