Winter Guard 2019
Welcome to Winter Guard 2019. Parents/Guardians please review with your student.
11/26, 11/28, and 11/30 4-7pm, report to band room – minimum 2 days required of participation
Report to DHS band room for auditions, time TBD after school
Audition fee: $50 non-refundable due 11/26 - see registration
Accepted students will be notified during auditions at the discretion of Color Guard Instructor
There are two registrations required for participation in Winter Guard
1- DHSBPA Website - $50 audition fee and participation agreement - Required by 11/26/18
To register your student for the Winter Guard audition, please Log in and go to My Account, My Forms. This is where you will review/accept the participation agreement and pay the initial audition fee - please note this does not guarantee student placement in Winter Guard.
Accepted students will then be required to pay Winter Guard dues of $300 for the season, see Dues and Fees section.

2 - Decatur High School Athtletics PRIVIT Website - Required for all Accepted Students into the Winter Guard program. Due by 12/15/18
Focused on the health and safety of individuals participating in organized activities or sports, PRIVIT® has transformed the paper process used for collecting personal health information from individuals prior to participation.
Dues and Fees
Winter Guard dues are $300 in total for students accepted into the program as outlined. There is a $50.00 non-refundable audition fee. If your student is selected for Winter Guard and participates the $50.00 will be applied to total Winter Guard dues leaving a balance of $250.00

TOTAL $300 for selected participating students
Dues cover program costs including competition fees, instruction fees, use of uniform and props (returned end of season), and Winter Guard tee shirt.
All prior balances from marching band dues or other past due balances must be paid for participation by 12/21/18. For questions about balance contact the band presidents at firstname.lastname@example.org
Lost/damaged item replacement fees apply upon occurrence and will be added to students account as due for payment. Examples include glove replacements $10 and flag bag $25.
